About the Role

The Sales Executive position is pivotal in driving revenue growth and expanding UOB's market presence. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating strong relationships with key clients, and effectively promoting UOB's comprehensive suite of banking products and services. This role requires a proactive approach, strategic thinking, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory or segment.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Effectively promote and sell UOB's range of banking products and services, including personal and business banking solutions.
  • Achieve and consistently surpass assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., relationship managers, product specialists) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities using the designated CRM system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the financial services or banking sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport and influence clients effectively.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services, with a keen interest in the banking industry.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
