About the Role

In this senior position, you will be the technical bridge between Axway's sales team and our prospective enterprise customers. You will be responsible for developing and delivering high-impact technical presentations, workshops, and demonstrations that clearly articulate how Axway's solutions address specific customer challenges and objectives. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding the sales process through the technical evaluation phase, ensuring proposals are both technically sound and strategically aligned with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives and account managers to understand customer requirements, technical environments, and business goals.
  • Develop and present compelling technical solutions that demonstrate the value and feasibility of Axway's products in solving customer problems.
  • Lead technical workshops, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and demonstrations for enterprise prospects, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Provide expert technical guidance during the proposal development process, ensuring solutions are accurately scoped and priced.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between the sales team and Axway's engineering and support teams throughout the sales cycle.
  • Contribute to the development of technical content, whitepapers, and reference architectures that support the sales effort.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer or equivalent role within the enterprise software sector.
  • Deep technical expertise in enterprise software solutions, particularly within the middleware, integration, or API management space.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of understanding customer business problems and translating them into effective technical solutions.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with sales teams, product management, and engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
