Valmet is seeking a dynamic Product Sales Manager to lead the promotion and sale of its spare‑part solutions for the pulp and energy sectors. Based in Cikarang, West Java, the role combines technical expertise with strategic sales initiatives, supporting customers throughout the circular economy of pulp and paper production.

About the Role

The position offers the opportunity to represent a leading engineering supplier in a fast‑growing market, translating complex product advantages into measurable value for customers. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that sales proposals are technically sound and aligned with the company’s sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share of spare‑part offerings in pulp and energy applications.
  • Identify and engage potential customers, including mill operators and engineering firms, through targeted outreach and networking.
  • Prepare technical quotations, proposals, and presentations that highlight product performance and circularity benefits.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams — including engineering, service, and logistics — to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by providing after‑sales technical support and addressing feedback.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to refine sales tactics.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, workshops, and technical seminars.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales of industrial equipment or spare parts, preferably within pulp, paper, or energy sectors.
  • Solid understanding of pulp and paper processing technologies and energy systems.
  • Technical background (engineering degree or equivalent experience) enables effective communication of product specifications.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in both Indonesian and English.
  • Willingness to travel regionally to meet customers and attend technical sessions.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑changing environment.
