Sales Collection and Internal Control

PT Meiden Engineering Indonesia is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Sales Collection and Internal Control within our Sales department. This position is based in Jakarta and plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our sales processes and financial controls. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the collection of outstanding sales receivables and implementing robust internal control measures to safeguard our financial assets and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

About the Role

The Sales Collection and Internal Control role involves a dual focus on managing customer payments and maintaining the integrity of our internal financial systems. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices and contribute to the overall efficiency and security of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the collection of outstanding sales receivables, including following up on overdue accounts and coordinating payment arrangements.
• Maintain accurate records of customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable balances regularly.
• Implement and monitor internal control procedures related to sales transactions and financial reporting.
• Identify potential risks or discrepancies in sales processes and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of reports related to sales performance and collection activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a sales or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
