Assistant Engineering Executive (Tuas South Incineration Plant)

About the Role

You will be a key member of the plant's engineering team, directly involved in maintaining the integrity and performance of essential mechanical equipment and associated systems. Your work is fundamental to the plant's ability to function effectively and meet stringent operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, execution, and documentation of routine and preventive maintenance activities for mechanical equipment and systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly and safely.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians and engineers to ensure the proper functioning of plant machinery and associated infrastructure.
• Contribute to the implementation and adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Participate in projects related to equipment upgrades, modifications, or new installations as required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment performance.

Requirements

• Possess a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of mechanical principles and equipment operation.
• Show proficiency in using relevant engineering tools and software for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
