Our client,a leading Japanese electronics manufacturing company based in Karawang, West Java, is looking for a seasoned Sales professional to join their team as a Senior Sales Staff/Assistant Supervisor. About the Role
The position blends strategic business development with team leadership. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new B2B accounts, nurturing existing client portfolios, and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery. The role requires a proactive mindset, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to translate technical product capabilities into compelling value propositions for industrial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at acquiring new B2B manufacturing clients.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Lead and mentor a small sales team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
- Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and contractual negotiations tailored to client needs.
- Coordinate with product, engineering, and logistics departments to align sales initiatives with technical capabilities.
- Track sales performance metrics and report progress to senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in B2B sales, preferably within the electronics or manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and expanding client bases.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to build and maintain long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
