Information Technology Intern - Vulnerability Management

Philip Morris International (PMI) is seeking a dedicated Information Technology Intern to join our Tech Operations team in Surabaya, East Java. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the critical area of vulnerability management within our factory-based application support framework. You will play a vital part in ensuring the security and resilience of our technological infrastructure by actively supporting vulnerability management activities and leveraging key monitoring solutions.

About the Role

You will be immersed in the practical execution of vulnerability management processes, directly supporting the identification, assessment, and remediation of security vulnerabilities across our factory applications. This internship provides hands-on experience with industry-standard vulnerability management tools and platforms, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of vulnerability management activities, including scanning and analysis.
• Provide technical support for factory-based applications, focusing on vulnerability-related issues.
• Utilize vulnerability management tools and monitoring solutions (e.g., Brinqa, Power BI) to track and report on security findings.
• Collaborate with the Tech Operations team to support vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of security monitoring processes.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security concepts.
• Demonstrated proficiency with vulnerability management tools and monitoring platforms (experience with Brinqa and Power BI is beneficial).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Proactive approach and eagerness to learn and apply new technologies.
