As the company continues its expansion, they are seeking a qualified Sales Retail professional to join their team in Surabaya, East Java. About the Role
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships within the retail building materials sector. This position involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets, ensuring the company's products reach key customers efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key retail customers and stakeholders in the building materials industry.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential customers within the Surabaya market and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (such as marketing and logistics) to ensure smooth product availability and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
- Prepare regular sales reports and present performance data to management.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the building materials, hardware, or retail sector, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong understanding of the retail building materials market in Surabaya and East Java.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant CRM software.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential.
