About the Role

This position is pivotal in driving revenue growth and market penetration for Expeditors within the Surabaya district. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. This involves building strong relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and surpass assigned sales objectives within the Surabaya district.
  • Prospect for new clients and cultivate existing relationships to maximize revenue generation and market share.
  • Present Expeditors' logistics solutions and value proposition to potential and existing clients, demonstrating a clear understanding of their supply chain needs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (including operations, marketing, and customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports using the company's designated CRM system.
  • Participate actively in regional sales meetings and industry events to represent Expeditors effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in a sales role, ideally within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Surabaya business landscape and key industries operating within East Java.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport and close deals effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
