This allows individuals to easily shop around for the best financial solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in Surabaya, East Java, driving growth and expanding our market presence within the insurance sector.

About the Role

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy for insurance products in Surabaya. This role involves building and leading a high-performing sales team, setting ambitious sales targets, and ensuring consistent achievement against key performance indicators (KPIs). You will be the primary driver of revenue growth within your assigned territory, fostering strong relationships with key clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy for insurance products, aligned with company objectives and market opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to drive individual and team success.
  • Establish and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics to ensure consistent revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and cultivate relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the Surabaya market.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure effective product launches and promotional campaigns.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and present insights and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sales management, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Extensive experience selling insurance products, demonstrating a deep understanding of the insurance market and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions based on market insights.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working within the fintech or financial services industry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
