This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their technical requirements, and effectively communicating our company's solutions to drive sales growth within the specified regions. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to bridge the gap between our products and customer needs.

About the Role

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting technical demonstrations, and providing expert product knowledge to potential and existing clients. This position requires a proactive approach to understanding complex technical specifications and translating them into compelling sales propositions. Collaboration with internal teams, including marketing and product development, is essential to ensure solutions align with market demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture long-term client relationships within the Kendari and Palu markets.
  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations of company products to potential clients.
  • Analyze client requirements and translate them into tailored technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product knowledge and support are up-to-date.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and proposals for technical solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in a sales engineering or similar technical sales role.
  • Strong understanding of relevant technical domains and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a regional sales environment.
  • Proactive approach with a results-oriented mindset.
