Based in Bekasi, West Java, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective planning, execution, and oversight of heavy equipment engineering projects, contributing directly to the company's operational success and growth. **About the Role** The Kepala Engineering (Alat Berat) will be responsible for the overall management and direction of engineering activities specifically related to heavy equipment. This includes leading project teams, developing technical solutions, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining the integrity of engineering processes. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of heavy equipment operations and maintenance. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the planning, design, and implementation of heavy equipment engineering projects from inception to completion. * Oversee the technical aspects of heavy equipment installation, modification, and maintenance programs. * Manage engineering teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight. * Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. * Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, procurement, maintenance) to integrate engineering solutions effectively. * Analyze project requirements, develop technical specifications, and manage project budgets and timelines. * Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering function. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) from a reputable institution. * Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role focused on heavy equipment. * Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects involving heavy machinery. * Strong knowledge of heavy equipment types, operations, maintenance principles, and associated engineering practices. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. * Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards). * Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
