About the Role

As the Executive Manager/Senior Manager (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly), you will spearhead BCA's strategic efforts to promote and implement DfMA methodologies. This involves developing comprehensive DfMA strategies, fostering industry collaboration, and ensuring the successful adoption of DfMA principles in public and private sector projects. Your leadership will be crucial in establishing BCA as a thought leader in DfMA innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute DfMA strategies aligned with national construction goals and BCA's vision.
  • Lead and manage DfMA projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with industry stakeholders, government agencies, and academic institutions to advance DfMA adoption.
  • Provide expert guidance and technical support to public and private sector clients on DfMA implementation.
  • Conduct research and development to identify and promote cutting-edge DfMA technologies and processes.
  • Develop training programs and resources to build industry capacity in DfMA practices.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in construction management, design, or manufacturing, with a proven track record in DfMA or similar innovative construction methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of Singapore's construction industry landscape, regulations, and key stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive change and influence diverse audiences.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships and networks within the construction ecosystem.
  • Relevant academic qualifications (e.g., Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field).
