About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, synthesis, and layout of IC blocks using advanced CAD tools.
  • Develop and refine verification testbenches and regression suites for design validation.
  • Perform statistical analysis and corner‑case testing to assess design robustness.
  • Implement and optimize EDA scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate new design features.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and research reports.
  • Maintain and organize experimental datasets for ongoing and future projects.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor physics, digital logic, and VLSI design fundamentals.
  • Hands‑on experience with EDA platforms such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including MATLAB, Python, or Perl for scripting and automation.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting technical results.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary research team.
