As a Senior Data Analyst (Marketing) based in Kuala Lumpur, you will play a pivotal role in shaping this mission by leveraging data to unlock insights that enhance our marketing strategies and drive growth across our local markets.

About the Role

You will be responsible for translating complex marketing data into actionable strategies that directly impact our business objectives. This senior position requires a deep understanding of data analysis techniques and a passion for using insights to optimize marketing campaigns and improve customer engagement. You will collaborate closely with marketing teams to identify opportunities, measure campaign effectiveness, and contribute to data-driven decision-making at a strategic level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and interpret advanced analytical models to measure marketing campaign performance and ROI across various channels.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improving customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Develop and maintain robust reporting dashboards and KPIs to track marketing effectiveness and business health.
  • Collaborate with marketing managers and product teams to translate business questions into data-driven research projects.
  • Present complex findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of emerging data analysis tools and methodologies to continuously enhance analytical capabilities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in data analysis, with a strong focus on marketing analytics and campaign measurement.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to design experiments, conduct A/B tests, and perform predictive modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively translate data insights into strategic recommendations.
  • A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment is highly desirable.
