This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker capable of managing the entire sales function for properties consistently achieving over 300 peak rooms and generating significant local catering revenue. The Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive plans to maximize revenue, enhance brand presence, and foster strong partnerships within the local market. About the Role The successful candidate will serve as the primary leader for the property's sales department, overseeing all aspects of the sales process from lead generation and conversion to contract negotiation and revenue management. This position demands a results-oriented professional with a proven track record in driving revenue growth within the hospitality or tourism sector, particularly within the Indonesian market. The Director will report directly to senior management and play a key role in shaping the overall commercial strategy for the properties under their purview. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with property objectives and market trends. * Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, client acquisition, and contract negotiation. * Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets for room bookings and local catering services. * Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key local partners, travel agents, corporate clients, and event planners. * Analyze market data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and optimize sales efforts. * Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure cohesive brand messaging and promotional activities. * Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and revenue management best practices. Requirements * Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership within the hospitality, tourism, or event management industry. * Proven success in managing sales teams and achieving significant revenue growth targets. * Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing effective sales strategies within the Indonesian market. * Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using sales and revenue management systems. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and manage multiple priorities.
