Finance Systems Analyst | High Street Business Edge is seeking a skilled Finance Systems Analyst to support the efficient operation and continuous improvement of our finance systems. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data within our central systems, particularly focusing on the Chart of Accounts (COA). The successful candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining system reliability and supporting the finance team's objectives through proactive problem-solving and process enhancement. **About the Role** The Finance Systems Analyst will be responsible for managing changes to the Chart of Accounts within our core finance system. This includes verifying data accuracy during migration processes, conducting thorough system testing to ensure changes function as intended, and documenting all processes clearly. The role also involves contributing to ongoing system enhancements and improvements, working closely with the finance and IT teams to identify and implement solutions that streamline operations and support business growth. **Key Responsibilities** * Support the implementation and maintenance of changes to the Chart of Accounts (COA) within the central finance system. * Perform data verification and validation tasks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of COA data during system migrations and updates. * Execute system testing procedures to validate the functionality and integrity of COA changes before and after implementation. * Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation for COA changes and system procedures. * Assist with identifying opportunities for system improvement and participate in the implementation of enhancements. * Collaborate effectively with finance and IT colleagues to resolve system issues and support daily operations. **Requirements** * Proven experience working with finance systems, particularly in the context of Chart of Accounts management and system changes. * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for data verification and testing. * Experience in documenting processes clearly and concisely. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Familiarity with finance processes and the ability to understand their impact on system functionality. * A proactive approach to identifying and implementing system improvements.
