About the Role
You will lead key initiatives focused on the Finance Transformation agenda, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organisation. Your expertise will be crucial in designing, implementing, and managing changes to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and procurement processes. This involves working with internal teams and potentially external partners to leverage technology and process improvements, ultimately delivering a more robust and forward-looking finance function.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and management of finance transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to modernise financial processes, systems, and controls.
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and IT teams to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and enhanced data analytics.
- Provide expert guidance and support to operational teams during process changes and system implementations.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of financial policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
- Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of transformation initiatives, ensuring successful delivery.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- Extensive experience (typically 8-12 years) in finance, accounting, or a related role, with a proven track record in finance transformation, process improvement, or system implementation.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and projects within a finance or procurement environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
