Finance Systems Analyst (Cloud & Operations)

Business Edge seeks a skilled Finance Systems Analyst to join our Financial Systems and Services (Statutory Boards) Directorate. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic development of Future Finance by managing the consolidation and implementation of Statutory Boards’ finance and payroll systems onto modern cloud platforms and operational frameworks. You will play a key part in transforming our financial technology landscape, ensuring robust, efficient, and compliant systems that support our statutory obligations and strategic goals.

About the Role

You will be at the forefront of integrating and optimizing critical financial systems for our Statutory Boards. This involves overseeing the migration and consolidation of existing finance and payroll applications onto scalable cloud infrastructure and streamlined operational processes. Your expertise will ensure seamless data flow, system integration, and operational efficiency, directly contributing to the modernization and resilience of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation and implementation of finance and payroll systems onto cloud and operational platforms.
• Manage system migrations, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to statutory reporting processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and validate system functionality for statutory compliance.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and integrations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to finance and payroll systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of system performance, security, and user experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finance Systems Analyst, particularly in finance and payroll system consolidation and implementation.
• Strong technical background in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and operational systems.
• Understanding of statutory financial reporting requirements and payroll processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex system challenges.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems or similar financial software platforms.
