About the Role

As a Senior Talent Strategy Consulting Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in Mercer's consulting practice. You will be responsible for supporting the design, execution, and delivery of comprehensive talent strategy projects. This involves translating complex business problems into actionable insights, developing tailored solutions, and providing expert advice to senior stakeholders. Your work will directly impact how organizations attract, retain, and develop their most valuable asset: their people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and delivery of talent strategy consulting engagements, including research, analysis, and solution design.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of client data, market trends, and organizational structures to identify talent challenges and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the creation of strategic recommendations and actionable plans for clients, focusing on areas like workforce planning, leadership development, and performance management.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior consultants, project managers, and client teams to ensure project objectives are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
  • Support the preparation of client presentations, reports, and other communication materials.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in the talent management field to inform client solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in HR consulting, talent management, or a related analytical role, preferably within the consulting or professional services environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into clear, strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, talent management frameworks, and consulting methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis tools.
