About the Role

The Material Planning Control (PPIC) position involves managing the planning and control of materials to meet production schedules efficiently. Key responsibilities include forecasting material needs, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments, and implementing strategies to minimize inventory costs while ensuring material availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material planning and control systems.
• Forecast material requirements based on production plans and sales forecasts.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely material procurement and delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement control measures to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Analyze material usage and identify opportunities for improvement in planning processes.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to align material availability with production schedules.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in material planning and control, preferably within manufacturing or logistics.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with various departments.
