About the Role

The Technical Support Engineer will be the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems encountered by clients using CHP and gas engine systems. This involves diagnosing issues, providing detailed solutions, and offering guidance to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime. The role emphasizes developing deep expertise in CHP and gas engine technologies to become a trusted internal and external resource.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for CHP and gas engine systems.
  • Diagnose complex technical issues and develop effective resolution strategies.
  • Document solutions and procedures clearly for knowledge base and client reference.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address product or system limitations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring junior support staff and providing guidance.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to clients of varying technical backgrounds.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical support, preferably within the CHP or gas engine sector.
  • Strong understanding of CHP systems, gas engines, and their operational principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple support cases effectively.
  • Experience with remote support tools and platforms.
