About the Role

The Purchasing role within ibis Surabaya City Center is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process for all necessary hotel supplies, including food and beverage items, housekeeping materials, and maintenance equipment.
• Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends and negotiate favorable terms to optimize purchasing costs and achieve budget targets.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory management.
• Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Collaborate with the finance team to manage purchasing budgets and report on spending.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role within the hospitality or retail sector is essential.
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively and manage supplier relationships.
