LTA-TRO] ENGINEER, KPE/MCE MANAGEMENT

You will be responsible for the planning, coordination and supervision of maintenance programmes and activities for the Land Transport Authority's (LTA) road tunnels' electrical system and related facilities. This critical role ensures the reliable and safe operation of these vital infrastructure assets, supporting the smooth and efficient movement of traffic through Singapore's tunnel network. You will play a key part in maintaining the integrity and performance of the electrical infrastructure underpinning the LTA's tunnel operations.

About the Role

This position involves leading the maintenance strategy for the electrical systems within LTA's road tunnels. You will develop comprehensive maintenance plans, coordinate the execution of these plans, and oversee the work to ensure it meets safety standards and operational requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in managing the lifecycle of the tunnel electrical infrastructure, from routine inspections and preventive maintenance to troubleshooting and major repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement maintenance programmes for the electrical systems and related facilities within LTA road tunnels.
• Coordinate the scheduling and execution of maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to tunnel operations.
• Supervise and manage maintenance contractors and internal teams responsible for tunnel electrical systems.
• Conduct inspections, diagnose faults, and oversee repairs and upgrades to electrical equipment and systems.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations, LTA standards, and industry best practices.
• Monitor system performance and report on maintenance outcomes and potential future requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering).
• Proven experience in the maintenance and management of electrical systems within tunnel environments or similar complex infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, standards (e.g., IEC, local regulations), and maintenance methodologies.
• Experience in planning, coordinating, and supervising maintenance programmes and activities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including contractors, internal teams, and regulatory bodies.
