About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in IGCSE and A Level Physics, ensuring students achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans and teaching materials for IGCSE and A Level Physics courses.
• Deliver engaging and effective instruction, utilizing a variety of pedagogical approaches to enhance student understanding and engagement.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance in accordance with institutional policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Physics department.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, curriculum development initiatives, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Physics, Science Education, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience teaching IGCSE and/or A Level Physics, demonstrating a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating learning environment.
• Ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching practices.
