This role is pivotal in unifying cybersecurity services, network operations, and data transport to support the Navy's critical command and control initiatives. The successful candidate will bridge technical expertise with clear communication, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence.

About the Role

You will serve as a vital link between complex technical systems and end-users, translating intricate cybersecurity and network operations into actionable support. Your primary focus will be enhancing the Service Desk's capability to resolve issues efficiently, document processes meticulously, and contribute to the overall reliability of Leidos' command and control infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline technical support for cybersecurity services, network operations, and data transport systems.
  • Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and user guides to ensure knowledge transfer and consistency.
  • Collaborate with network operations and cybersecurity teams to diagnose and resolve service desk incidents.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate service level agreements (SLAs) and reporting on service desk performance metrics.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of operational playbooks and runbooks.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and end-users, ensuring clear understanding of issues and resolutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical support or service desk environment, preferably within cybersecurity, network operations, or data transport.
  • Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with common service desk tools (e.g., ticketing systems, remote support software).
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and complex systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with technical staff and end-users.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
