About the Role

The Purchasing role at IBIS Surabaya City Center is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel's procurement processes. This position involves managing the acquisition of goods and services essential for the hotel's daily functions, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing purchasing strategies to support the overall success of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure goods and services required for hotel operations, adhering to established purchasing policies and procedures.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all purchases and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Coordinate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
