About the Role

Grab is seeking an Occupational Health & Safety Intern to join its dedicated safety team in Singapore. This internship provides exposure to a fast‑growing organization committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all employees, partners, and customers. The role supports the implementation of safety initiatives, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement of workplace health practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting safety audits and inspections across Grab’s offices and operational sites.
• Support the preparation of health and safety documentation, including incident reports and risk assessments.
• Help coordinate safety training sessions and awareness campaigns for staff.
• Conduct research on best practices in occupational health and safety and compile findings for internal use.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify potential hazards and propose mitigation measures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of safety equipment, certifications, and compliance checklists.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program such as Occupational Health, Safety Management, Public Health, or a related field.
• Strong interest in workplace safety and a proactive attitude toward learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present information clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with basic data analysis tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and adapt to a fast‑paced setting.
• Previous exposure to health and safety regulations or workplace compliance is a plus, but not mandatory.
