Actuarial Analyst - Reinsurance Project

Manulifeis seeking a skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our team in Jakarta, focusing on critical reinsurance project support. This role involves providing essential assistance in reinsurance reporting and administration processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in key operational areas.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the reinsurance function, contributing to the smooth execution of reinsurance projects. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in reinsurance reconciliation processes with external reinsurers, ensuring data accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
• Provide support for the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase related to reinsurance systems and model implementations.
• Contribute to the implementation and testing of reinsurance models, ensuring they meet project requirements.
• Perform necessary corrections and adjustments to reinsurance premium calculations as directed.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate reinsurance reporting and administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in actuarial analysis, particularly within reinsurance or insurance settings.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
• Experience with reinsurance reporting, reconciliation, and system testing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling complex financial data.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Relevant actuarial qualifications (e.g., FSA, FCAS, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
