About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in IGCSE and A Level Biology, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences that align with our curriculum and teaching philosophy. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials for IGCSE and A Level Biology courses.
• Facilitate interactive and stimulating classroom activities that promote student inquiry, exploration, and scientific communication.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance in accordance with institutional policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development and refinement of the Biology curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

Requirements

• Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Science Education, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience, ideally within the IGCSE or A Level Biology curriculum.
• Proven ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that motivates students.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for effective teaching and collaboration.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for fostering student success.
• Understanding of or willingness to adapt to an internationally-oriented educational approach.
