About the Role

The Advocacy & Influence Manager will be pivotal in developing and executing strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and community leaders. This role focuses on shaping public perception and policy in support of L'Oréal's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive advocacy and influence strategies aligned with L'Oréal's corporate objectives.
• Build and nurture relationships with government representatives, policymakers, and industry influencers.
• Monitor regulatory and legislative landscapes relevant to the beauty industry and anticipate potential impacts.
• Collaborate with internal teams (communications, government relations, public affairs) to ensure consistent messaging and coordinated efforts.
• Prepare and present briefings, reports, and position papers to key stakeholders and internal leadership.
• Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaborations to advance L'Oréal's interests.

Requirements

• Proven experience in advocacy, government relations, public affairs, or a related field, ideally within the consumer goods or beauty sector.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments and policy-making processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence diverse audiences.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans and manage complex projects.
• Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Relevant bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, political science, or a related discipline.
