About the Role

You will be entrusted with the comprehensive management of a specific portfolio of tenancies and licences. This encompasses monitoring lease compliance, addressing tenant inquiries, facilitating lease renewals or terminations, and ensuring all activities adhere strictly to the terms of the agreements and applicable laws. A core aspect involves evaluating new applications and proposals for tenancy or licence, assessing their alignment with land use plans and policy requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the assigned portfolio of existing tenancies and licences, ensuring optimal utilisation and compliance.
  • Evaluate new applications and proposals for tenancy or licence, assessing alignment with land use policies and strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate lease renewals, modifications, and terminations in accordance with contractual terms and regulatory frameworks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tenancies and licences within the portfolio.
  • Respond to tenant enquiries and address issues related to lease compliance and property management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties to resolve portfolio-related matters efficiently.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in property management, real estate, land administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in property management, tenancy administration, or land licensing.
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of tenancies/licences effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate proposals and applications critically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills for managing complex portfolios.
  • Understanding of property law, tenancy regulations, and land administration principles.
