Enterprise Risk Management Specialist

About the Role

The Enterprise Risk Management Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing robust risk management processes. This involves collaborating with various business units to identify potential threats and opportunities, quantifying risks, and designing effective mitigation strategies to protect the company's assets, reputation, and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification and analysis of enterprise-wide risks, including operational, financial, strategic, and compliance-related exposures.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive risk assessment methodologies and frameworks aligned with international standards.
• Coordinate the implementation of risk mitigation plans and monitor their effectiveness across all business functions.
• Provide expert risk management advice and support to senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk management.
• Contribute to the development of the company's enterprise risk management strategy and annual risk management plan.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior risk management, internal audit, or compliance role within a large-scale industrial or mining environment.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise risk management principles, frameworks (e.g., COSO), and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CRCM are advantageous.
