Application Software Engineer - Relocation to Tokyo

About the Role

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions. This position involves working on both frontend and backend components, ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to uphold quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, including debugging and performance tuning.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++) and experience with web technologies.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
