As a Guest Services Associate I, you will be the primary point of contact for guests during critical stages of their stay, directly impacting satisfaction and operational flow. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of front-desk and guest service functions essential to the smooth running of our accommodations.
**About the Role**
You will work in a dynamic, guest-focused environment, handling daily check-in and check-out procedures while managing room assignments and addressing guest requests. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments efficiently.
- Handle room change and late check-out requests according to established policies.
- Secure all guest payments and process refunds accurately.
- Activate, re-issue, and manage room keys to ensure guest access.
- Maintain accurate records of guest transactions and room status.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with standard office software and property management systems.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift luggage.
