The Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore seeks a dynamic and creative Manager, Community Partnership to lead our community-centric initiatives. This pivotal role involves developing and nurturing strategic partnerships to enhance public engagement and support the delivery of efficient, sustainable land transport solutions. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to foster mutual understanding and co-create initiatives that align with LTA's vision for a connected and inclusive transport ecosystem.
**About the Role**
As Manager, Community Partnership, you will be the driving force behind building and maintaining strong relationships with community groups, NGOs, businesses, and other key partners. Your primary focus will be on identifying opportunities for collaboration, designing impactful community engagement programs, and ensuring these partnerships effectively contribute to LTA's goals. You will need to translate complex transport policies and projects into accessible and relevant community-focused activities, fostering trust and shared ownership.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop and implement strategic partnership frameworks and engagement plans to achieve LTA's community objectives.
* Proactively identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with key community stakeholders, including grassroots organizations, advocacy groups, and industry partners.
* Design, coordinate, and evaluate community engagement initiatives, events, and outreach programs that promote public understanding and support for LTA's work.
* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Communications, Policy, Operations) to ensure community perspectives are integrated into project planning and decision-making.
* Monitor and report on partnership performance, impact, and key metrics to demonstrate value and inform future strategies.
* Represent LTA effectively at community forums, industry events, and public consultations.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Communications, Public Administration, Business).
* Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, partnership development, or a related field.
* Proven track record of designing and executing successful community programs and building strong, lasting partnerships.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence diverse audiences.
* Strong strategic thinking and project management abilities, with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Demonstrated ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible messaging for community audiences.
* Passion for public service and a commitment to fostering inclusive and sustainable communities.
