Weare seeking a skilled Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning (AI/ML) Engineer to design and implement innovative Proof of Concepts (POCs) on Cloud platforms. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of intelligent transport systems, leveraging cutting-edge AI/ML techniques to address complex challenges within the land transport domain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation and the ability to bridge theoretical concepts with practical, scalable solutions.

About the Role

You will be at the forefront of developing and deploying AI/ML solutions that enhance traffic management and operational efficiency within the intelligent transport ecosystem. This involves translating business requirements into technical specifications, designing robust POCs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate and refine these solutions. Your work will directly impact the performance and innovation capabilities of our transport systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models and algorithms for traffic management and intelligent transport systems.
• Design and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs) on Cloud infrastructure to demonstrate the feasibility and value of AI/ML solutions.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to integrate AI/ML components into existing or new transport systems.
• Optimize and deploy AI/ML models for scalability, reliability, and performance within cloud environments.
• Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and documentation of AI/ML solutions and their deployment processes.
• Stay abreast of emerging AI/ML technologies and assess their potential applicability to transport system challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML models and solutions.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML (e.g., Python, R).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and relevant cloud services (e.g., compute, storage, databases).
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model deployment tools.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement POCs effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable technical plans.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
