About the Role
We seek a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence Scientist - Advanced to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This position is pivotal in developing and applying advanced AI methodologies to address critical energy challenges and support our strategic goals. You will work at the forefront of AI innovation, translating complex problems into actionable solutions that enhance our operations and contribute to a net-zero future.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced AI models and algorithms to solve complex problems in energy exploration, production, or optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, scientists, and data analysts to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows and systems.
- Conduct rigorous research and experimentation to evaluate the effectiveness of AI approaches and drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, identifying opportunities for application within our industry.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) developing and deploying large-scale AI models, particularly in complex, real-world environments.
- Extensive expertise in core machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and programming languages (e.g., Python, C++).
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute experiments, analyze results, and translate findings into practical applications.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a track record of delivering impactful results.
- Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment within the energy or technology sector is highly desirable.
