TheCommunity Strategies and Insights team within the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) is dedicated to fostering stronger social cohesion across Singapore. This role focuses on building and nurturing strategic partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including community organizations, public agencies, research institutions, and other key players. The primary objective is to develop innovative strategies and insights that enhance community engagement and resilience, ultimately contributing to a more united and vibrant society.

About the Role

You will be instrumental in shaping and executing MCCY's community partnership initiatives. This involves identifying opportunities for collaboration, establishing strong relationships, and facilitating effective communication channels between MCCY and its partners. Your work will directly support the development of programs and policies aimed at strengthening community bonds and addressing shared challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations, public agencies, research institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with partners to design, implement, and evaluate community engagement strategies and initiatives.
  • Provide insights and analysis to inform MCCY's approach to community development and social cohesion efforts.
  • Facilitate dialogue and knowledge-sharing between MCCY and its diverse network of partners.
  • Contribute to the development of frameworks and tools to support effective community partnership management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, or partnership development within a public or non-profit sector context.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple relationships effectively.
  • A commitment to contributing to Singapore's social cohesion goals.
