This critical role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our central kitchen, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of food while maintaining strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards. The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests and supporting the overall success of our culinary operations.

About the Role

The Central Kitchen Supervisor will be the key operational leader within our central kitchen facility. This position demands a strong leader capable of managing a team, optimizing processes, and ensuring consistent food quality and service standards across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly manage and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Oversee the preparation, cooking, and plating of food items to meet established quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
  • Implement and enforce rigorous food safety and sanitation protocols throughout all kitchen operations.
  • Monitor food inventory levels, manage purchasing, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and meet service demands.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Maintain accurate records related to production, inventory, and staff management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in a supervisory role within a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and manage kitchen personnel effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, local health codes) and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification or degree is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in relevant kitchen management software and inventory systems.
