Database & Support System Officer

About the Role

The Database & Support System Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day management and support of our database environments and associated systems. This includes ensuring the smooth operation of our web and mobile applications, which utilize PHP and CodeIgniter 3. Key responsibilities encompass the maintenance of storage infrastructure, such as NAS devices, and providing technical support for both hardware and software components. Collaboration with the IT department is essential to resolve issues and implement necessary updates and improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain database systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for web and mobile applications built with PHP and CodeIgniter 3.
• Perform regular maintenance and monitoring of storage devices, including NAS systems.
• Coordinate with the IT team to address hardware and software issues, implement updates, and ensure system reliability.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of database solutions and support protocols.
• Assist in the documentation of procedures and processes related to database management and system support.

Requirements

• Proven experience in database administration and support system management.
• Experience in web and mobile application development, specifically with PHP and CodeIgniter 3.
