Dealls is seeking a skilled Database Engineer to join our team in East Java. About the Role

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions. This involves working closely with development teams to understand application requirements and translating them into efficient database schemas and queries. You will also be involved in troubleshooting database issues, monitoring performance, and implementing best practices for data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database schemas and stored procedures.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and schema refinement.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and backup/recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with developers and system administrators on database-related tasks.
• Investigate and resolve complex database issues and errors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database design principles.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with database administration tasks (backup, recovery, user management).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
