Business Research Intern

The BusinessResearch Intern will play a vital role in supporting the Business Development team's efforts to drive strategic expansion initiatives for the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in conducting comprehensive market and post-opening research, directly contributing to informed decision-making processes.

About the Role

The intern will assist in gathering and analyzing data related to market potential and family demographics to identify optimal locations for new school openings. This involves researching local competition, understanding community needs, and evaluating demographic trends to pinpoint areas with high growth potential and strong family populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and executing market research studies, including surveys and data collection.
• Analyze collected data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges in target areas.
• Support the mapping and identification of "family hotspots" – neighborhoods with high concentrations of families likely to enroll in the organization's schools.
• Compile and summarize research findings into clear reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Assist with post-opening research activities to evaluate the performance and impact of newly established schools.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant undergraduate program (e.g., Business, Economics, Marketing, Urban Planning, or Social Sciences).
• Demonstrated interest in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present research findings.
• Proficiency in using standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
