About the Role
You will be integral to the Adjudication and Debt Repayment Scheme (DRS) team, providing expert support in processing applications, reviewing documentation, and facilitating the fair resolution of insolvency matters for individuals. Your work will directly impact the administration of the insolvency regime, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks and contributing to the Ministry's goal of a sound and progressive legal infrastructure.Key Responsibilities
- Processing and reviewing applications for adjudication and Debt Repayment Schemes (DRS) under the Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act (IRDA).
- Conducting thorough assessments of financial information and supporting documentation provided by applicants and their representatives.
- Making informed decisions on the eligibility and suitability of individuals for adjudication or participation in the Debt Repayment Scheme.
- Ensuring meticulous adherence to legal procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements throughout the adjudication and DRS processes.
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive case records and providing clear, concise updates to stakeholders as required.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues, legal counsel, and external parties to resolve complex insolvency issues.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience, ideally within a legal, financial, or administrative setting, particularly involving case management, adjudication, or debt resolution processes.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal and financial information accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities efficiently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
