About the Role

The Assistant Maintenance Manager will provide essential support to the Maintenance Manager, focusing on the upkeep and optimization of production equipment for Pouch, Sachet & Big Nose packaging lines. This involves proactive maintenance planning, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities for assigned production lines.
• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize production disruptions.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with production teams to understand equipment needs and optimize maintenance strategies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in maintenance management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in food or consumer goods packaging.
• Technical qualifications in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex machinery and implement effective maintenance solutions.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance principles and work order management systems.
