About the Role

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevator and escalator systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components, ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and meets stringent safety standards. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a team to maintain high levels of service and operational uptime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on elevator and escalator systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and prevent future failures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role, preferably within the elevator or mechanical maintenance field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of elevator mechanics, electrical systems, and hydraulic principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid certification in elevator maintenance or a related field (e.g., electrical, mechanical engineering).
