Epiroc, a global leader in mining and rock excavation, seeks a dedicated Key Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison for our valued customers in Jakarta. This pivotal role involves fostering strong, strategic partnerships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring their needs are met through proactive engagement and tailored solutions. The Key Account Manager will drive customer satisfaction and contribute significantly to the growth of our market share within the region.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be the central point of contact for all sales and technical inquiries from our key customers. This involves developing and implementing comprehensive activity plans to nurture relationships, scheduling regular customer meetings, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services. Building deep trust and understanding with customers is paramount to securing long-term loyalty and driving mutual success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer contact for sales and technical inquiries, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Develop and execute detailed activity plans to engage existing and new customers effectively.
  • Arrange and facilitate regular customer meetings to discuss needs, progress, and potential opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers to foster loyalty and trust.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding business with key accounts through strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, technical, marketing) to ensure seamless customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Key Account Management or similar B2B sales role, preferably within the mining, construction, or industrial equipment sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand customer needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing strategic customer relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Relevant educational background, typically a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
