Banking Experiments Business Director

Xendit, a leading provider of payment infrastructure across Southeast Asia, is expanding its operations into Greater China and Latin America. We empower businesses by processing payments, enabling marketplaces, disbursing payroll and loans, offering KYC solutions, preventing fraud, and driving growth. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of banking through innovative experiments.

About the Role

You will lead and manage a team focused on designing, executing, and analyzing experiments within the banking domain. Your strategic vision will guide the development and implementation of experiments aimed at enhancing payment solutions, improving user experiences, and optimizing operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, data science, and business teams to translate business objectives into actionable experimental frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize experimental initiatives aligned with Xendit's banking strategy and growth objectives.
• Develop robust experimental designs, including hypotheses, metrics, and success criteria for banking-related projects.
• Lead the execution of experiments, managing resources, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Analyze experimental results, interpret data, and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by iterating on experimental approaches based on learnings.
• Ensure experiments adhere to best practices in data privacy, security, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) in leading or managing experimental programs, particularly within a technology or fintech environment.
• Strong background in designing and executing A/B tests, multivariate tests, or other experimental methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Experience collaborating effectively with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
• Understanding of payment processing, banking operations, or fintech concepts is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate findings and recommendations.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or Business.
