About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainability strategies and action plans for the Sustainability Office and relevant MAS divisions.
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on integrating sustainability considerations into MAS's operations and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, government agencies, industry partners, and international bodies to foster sustainable practices.
- Monitor global sustainability trends and regulatory developments to inform MAS's approach and policy recommendations.
- Provide expert guidance and support to MAS divisions on sustainability-related matters and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to the development of MAS's sustainability reporting and disclosure frameworks.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, economics, finance, business administration).
- Extensive experience (minimum 8-10 years) in sustainability, environmental management, or a related strategic field, with significant leadership experience.
- Proven track record in developing and executing complex sustainability strategies within a corporate or regulatory environment.
- Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks (e.g., ESG, TCFD), global sustainability trends, and their implications for financial regulation.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at senior levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment.
