Senior Advanced Development Discrete (ADA) Software Engineer

Qualcomm's RF360 Singaporeteam seeks a highly skilled Senior Advanced Development Discrete (ADA) Software Engineer to join our Engineering Group. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy impactful software solutions within the discrete (ADA) domain. You will play a pivotal role in translating complex requirements into robust, high-performance software artifacts that drive innovation in our RF360 products.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the end-to-end development lifecycle of discrete (ADA) software components, ensuring they meet stringent performance, reliability, and quality standards. This includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Your work will directly contribute to the advancement of Qualcomm's discrete (ADA) technology portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement discrete (ADA) software algorithms and modules.
• Collaborate effectively with hardware engineers, system architects, and other software teams to define and implement software requirements.
• Develop, test, and debug software components using appropriate methodologies and tools.
• Optimize software performance, efficiency, and resource utilization.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive software documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on discrete (ADA) or similar embedded systems.
• Proven expertise in developing and optimizing software for discrete (ADA) platforms.
• Experience with relevant programming languages (e.g., C, C++, assembly) and development tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.
